This contest is my way of promoting new ideas, new concepts, new
interpretations, and to push people to create something beautiful
beyond what they normally do. I am always pushing myself to know
more, do more, and express more through my art. I want others to
do the same.

The premise of this contest is obvious. I am looking for originality.
Surprise me. I don't want to see girls in black dresses overlooking
oceans, or girls in white dress standing in snow. Save those for
your mama, because I'm not interested.


Contest begins on July 12th, 2008
Contest ends on EXTENDED TO September 13th, 2008 Midnight EST

That gives you two months which I hope will be ample time.
The contest time will NOT be shortened, but if a time extension
is needed, it will be dealt with when necessary.










ANY ART FORM IS ACCEPTED.
Far be it for me to make restrictions
on how people can express originality.

ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.
I don't want three somewhat original ideas.
I want one powerfully original idea.

ALL ENTRIES MUST BE NEW.
I will not accept entries that were
created before July 12th. Sorry. It's only fair.

NEW RULE
ALL STOCK MUST BE LISTED.
I can't believe I forgot to mention this
before, but YES, it is a rule. Simply writing sxc.hu
is NOT enough. If your work is something other than
a photomanipulation, painting, or mixed media piece,
don't worry. This obviously does not apply to you.


If you decide you want to switch out an already submitted
entry with a new entry (within the alloted contest time),
you may do so. Simply note me saying you wish to change your
entry and I'll switch the old with the new.

Donators may also enter the contest, but judges cannot.

All entries should be submitted to me VIA NOTE. If it is in
a comment, I won't read it. A note is much easier to keep
track of, especially with DA's new v6 system.

The title of the note should read "Submission" and the body
should have the thumb image.

For example, : thumb1928759 : without the spaces.
